KATA, INJURY PREVENTION, CONTROL & EXPRESSION (TUES, 12/11, 6:30 – 9:30)
We all know that taiko drumming is a physically demanding activity. Given the nature of how we move our bodies when we play, we are more at risk for certain kinds of injuries, especially with certain more physically demanding styles. The goal of this workshop is to provide you with tools and techniques that you can use to prevent injury while giving you a greater sense of control and freedom as you’re playing. All levels welcome.
Cost is $50.
Also check out the first workshop: Odaiko on Monday.
