A lantern festival is a beautiful way to remember loved ones. Lanterns are inscribed, then lit and set afloat. They are sent off in hopes that the messages will reach friends and family. Odaiko New England is honored to return to Andover’s Family Lantern Festival at the Chapel at West Parish.
Come bring a picnic dinner and be a part of the celebration.
The festival starts at 7:00pm and the lanterns will be launched at sunset.
Odaiko New England will once again be performing for the yearly Dragon Boat Festival on the Charles river in cambridge.
There will be food trucks along Memorial drive, and of course plenty of crews racing their dragon boats down the river.
This event is open to the public and free.
More info can be found at https://www.bostondragonboat.org/festival-performances.
