Odaiko New England is coming back to the 40th anniversary Blackships festival in Bristol, RI at Independence park.
The event is an all weekend long event, but Odaiko New England will be performing in Independence park throughout the day on Saturday Aug 12th.

Odaiko New England is proud to be part of the programming for “Celebrate Kyoto!”, celebrating the 65th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Boston and Kyoto.
This is a two day event at the Boston Children’s Museum. Museum tickets must be purchased to attend the event. The full event schedule will be available at https://bostonchildrensmuseum.org/
Saturday Workshop 12:30 – 1:15
Join us on Saturday for a taiko workshop great for children where we will teach how to make taiko drumsticks called “Bachi” out of newspaper and decorate cardboard taiko drums.

Boston’s Dragon Boat Festival transforms ancient traditions into an exciting cultural event and is the longest-running dragon boat festival in North America. Odaiko New England is thrilled to once again send some thunderous drumming across the Charles River toward the Boston-side races.
The Cambridge-side festival starts at 12:00 noon and admission is free. Odaiko New England performs at 4:30 pm.
