Winter Extravaganza
Come see what we’ve been working on. Join us as we get in the holiday spirit as only we know how–with lots of taiko! The Fundamentals class will be performing a brand new song, the Styles class will be demonstrating the power of taiko and the members have fun ways to show how we learn and explore the art of taiko.
Suggested donation of $10 at the door. Bake sale and light reception to follow.
Oshogatsu, a festival welcoming the New Year, is one of Japan’s most important annual festivals. Join us at the Children’s Museum to celebrate 2014, the Year of the Horse. Following our performance will be a shi-shi-mai (lion dance) and parade with taiko accompaniment.
今年もよろしくおねがいします
The performance is free with admission to the museum. We will be performing twice during the day. The times are TBD but will be in the afternoon. For more information, please visit The Boston Children’s Museum event calendar.
For the sixth consecutive year, Odaiko New England will energize more than 40,000 walkers at this year’s Walk for Hunger. Come hear our thunderous taiko rhythms on the Boston Common at the finish line of the 20-mile route. We look forward to sharing our spirit and joy in support of Project Bread and the walkers!

A small handful of our troupe performs on the Long Wharf Mall to give a taste of the powerful drumming that will happen on Sunday in our full performance. Come see us play a few select songs and talk to us afterwards.
We will be performing at 12:00pm, 1:30pm and 3pm.
The Prelude is presented by Bailey T’s Resortwear and the Long Wharf Mall.
